Christmas 2016 — In the COTMProd Director’s Suite

We were able to capture some extra footage and media for the first time during this past Christmas production. We’ve had many queries over the years for specific footage of some of our production areas captured during an event, things like recordings of our com channels, screen shots of playback elements, etc. We were able to put some of this together and it actually came out quite cool.

As luck would have it, the service I randomly picked (before the fact) to capture for this, happened to have some issues. Even as much as we’d prefer every event to always be executed perfectly, the reality is it rarely happens! So you get to see us, warts and all!

Here’s the deal, there is a LOT of info packed into this piece: 9 different concurrent video options, and 4 different audio options, all with the ability to view/listen as desired. We also included a live production commentary where we discuss many ups and downs of the service as it plays out.

A few technical notes to set you up like a boss: For obvious reasons, this won’t work too well on a mobile phone mainly due to the amount of imagery available to occupy your screen. We highly suggest watching on a computer if possible. Having a recent browser will help as well as logging into wifi internet that doesn’t suck.

Any comments, feel free and hit us back below. Many questions may already have been answered within the many blogs we’ve uploaded over the years, quite a bit of info was uploaded just within the last week or so. AND remember: Google is your friend. Use it, live it, be it.
